Arranged on a 22K gold chain (the lobster-claw clasp is 18K gold) are symbols of five of the world's great religions, along with amber containing insects from 30 million years ago, and a fragment of meteorite about 4 billion years old.
The pendants, from left to right in the photo: a piece of meteorite, a (outer case is 22K gold, Buddha figure is gold-plated) Buddhist amulet from Thailand, a 22K gold Hindu medallion from Singapore, a piece of Dominican Republic amber containing several preserved ants, an 18K gold Jewish Star of David from Tokyo, a 22K gold Christian medallion from the Philippines, and a 22K gold Islamic medallion with the Arabic character meaning "Allah" (the posts and jump rings are all 18K gold)
