TERMS of SALE
The following conditions apply to the sale of items listed
on this website:
PAYMENT & DELIVERY
1. All sales will be done
LOCALLY, in person. The buyer is expected to come
meet me at Kugayama Station and to pay in cash at that time
if the item is acceptable. (except as in item 2 below)
2. Buyers who live in Japan but outside of the Tokyo area
may request that the item be shipped (within Japan only).
If I agree to ship the item, the buyer must accept the
following:
a. the item is accepted sight-unseen and may not be
returned
b. the buyer will pay extra charges for the shipping and
handling
c. the buyer will pay the full amount by bank transfer or
cash in registered mail before the item is shipped
WARRANTY & RETURNS
3. All items are sold “as
is.” No refund, return or exchange is allowed
4. This is based on the idea that for most of what I sell,
it can be tested and inspected on the spot. In a case where
it could not (for example, a desktop pc, no place to plug
it in & test it at the station), we can make an
arrangement for a refund and return to be allowed if the
buyer gets the item home and finds it not working
