OF CHARGES for computer work

A.
Service Call
-at the client’s home or office-
-
The
initial labor charge
is:
6,000 yen per hour for a service call of up to 2 hours
5,000 yen per hour for a service call of over 2 hours up to
4 hours
4,500 yen per hour for a service call of over 4 hours
- The
"follow-up" labor charge
for a service call scheduled within one month of a previous
visit is:
5,000 yen per hour for a service call of up to 2 hours
4,500 yen per hour for a service call of over 2 hours up to
4 hours
4,000 yen per hour for a service call of over 4 hours
- There are occasionally further
discounts and special rates available
HERE
- There is a
minimum 1 hour
charge per visit.
- After the first hour, the charge is pro-rated in 1,000
yen increments (according to the hourly rate in effect).
- There's an additional
transport charge
each visit, and the amount is based on both the train fare
and time required from my home in Kawasaki.

- Payment must be made
in cash
on the day of the visit (receipt available on request).
- The client may
cancel an appointment
for a service call as late as 24 hours before the
appointment; cancellation later than that will result in a
cancellation charge of 4000 yen
B.
In-house Work
-when the client delivers the computer to my home or when I
take it home to work on between service calls-
- The labor charge is 5000 yen per hour,
no minimum,
calculated to the nearest 1000 yen (every 12 minutes).
- There is
no charge for time spent on telephone and e-mail
consulting.
C.
Purchasing
(when I buy parts or equipment for the client)
- When I do
purchasing on my own,
before or between service calls, the labor charge is 5000
yen per hour, no minimum, calculated to the nearest 1000
yen (every 12 minutes), for time spent shopping and any
time spent in transport which is not on the route to the
client’s place.
-When I meet or go with the client to do purchasing
together (meaning no service call to the client's home or
office is required) it will be considered as a
service call
(see A above).
D.
Conditions
- The charges are strictly based on
time spent working, not based on results.
- I promise the following to my clients:
1. I will give my best effort to achieve the desired
results
as efficiently as possible.
2. I will give my
best effort
not to cause loss of data, damage to equipment or any other
harm.
3. I will keep all client information
private and confidential.
However...
4. A condition of using my services is that the client
agrees
not to hold me liable
for failure to achieve the desired results, nor for
accidental loss of data or damage to equipment.
